“He’s been a bit unlucky with a few other chances but he’s helped us find a way to win (that) game (against Hull).

“When we’ve needed people that can finish we’ve had them,” Moyes concluded.

“Our players need to know the rules governing the league they are playing in as that will help them in fighting for what is due to them” He told Liberty Radio

“For instance if a player is owed salaries all he has to do is to write to the team, giving them a 14 days ultimatum after which if they don’t pay. He can leave for free, it’s as simple as that”.

Dikko also urged club administrators to treat players welfare as a matter of urgency as without the players they won’t be there as administrators.

Furthermore,he urged them to try and be self sustainable as that is the only way they can properly run their clubs with the funds they are able to generate without needing government’s backing.

FC Porto look set to complete a move for Nigerian teen sensation Samuel Chukwueze but the 16 year old could have easily been plying his trade at the Emirates with Arsenal were it not for a disagreement over the mode of transfer payment to his nursery team Diamond Academy.

The Gunners agreed a deal reportedly worth £1.5m for Chukwueze with an extra £1m base on if he progress to the first team and the 16 year old also agreed personal terms after passing his medicals but Arsenal pulled out of the deal when they couldn’t reach an agreement on how to pay the agreed fee.

Arsenal wanted to pay 10% of the agreed sum but Diamond Academy requested for 40% upfront payment which infuriated Arsene Wenger as they have earlier agreed to collect the above mentioned percentage.

“We got a mail sometimes in April from Arsenal stating clearly their unwillingness to proceed with the deal due to reasons that we know had to do with poor conduct of those around the lad” a source told Owngoalnigeria.com

” He will be heading to Porto but for a fee lesser than what Arsenal were willing to pay as transfer fee and even in wages to the player, as a matter of fact Red Bull Salzburg brought a better deal than Porto but at the end for the sake of his career growth, he chose FC Porto”.
