Dailymail columnist Sami Mokbel who dropped news of unrest in the Chelsea dressing room, has dropped a big hint suggesting players of Chelsea want Manager Antonio Conte to sacrifice N’Golo Kante for Mikel Obi.

Amokachi: “I Will Take Nigerian Football To Another Level If Am Made Coach Of The Team”

Former Super Eagles captain and assistant coach Daniel Amokachi says he will take Nigerian football to a level nobody has taken them to, if he is made coach of the team.

Since winning the cup of nations in 2013, a tournament Amokachi assisted then head coach late Stephen Keshi. The Super Eagles of Nigeria are yet to qualify for the Africa soccer showpiece.

Nigeria is presently under the tutelage of German coach Gernot Rohr, but Amokachi who has served as assistant coach to various manager of the Nigeria team insist he has the blueprint on how to turn Nigeria football around.

Amokachi who is presently the head coach of Finnish side JS Hercules believes that Nigeria has the talent to be doing better than what they are doing at the moment.

“I know that one day I’ll be the head coach of the Nigeria national team and I will take Nigerian football to a level nobody has taken them to before,” he says. “The ability of player we have these days … any coach given this job is lucky. In my head, I know how we’d play and the blueprint is ready to go.

“With the talent there now, we should be surpassing my generation, the players from the 1990s. It’s sad, because people still refer back 20 years without looking at what we’ve got today, but the quality is second to none. They seem to have given everybody except me an opportunity but, by God’s grace, it will happen.”

Super Eagles midfield enforcer Nosa Igiebor was on target for Maccabi Tel Aviv in their 5-0 thrashing of Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Tel Aviv derby in Isreal.

Prolific Nwakaeme Scores Second Brace In A Month For Israeli League Champions

Hapoel Beer Sheva Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme is having a fine run in front of goal for the Isreali champions after scoring a brace in their 3-0 success over Bnei Yehuda.

Two weeks ago the 27 year old scored a brace against Bnei Sakhnin in yet another 3-0 win prior to today’s game when he struck in the 45th and 69th minute.

The brace took his season tally to four goals from the first four games of the new season in Israel, where he scored 11 goals last season to lead Hapoel Beer Sheva to the league title.

He has earned a reputation for himself as a feared forward in the league, after scoring close to 30 goals in his three and half year stay in the league playing for two different clubs.

Nwakaeme came to Israel from Romanian side Cluj, joining Hapoel Ra’anana where he spent two seasons before his move to Hapoel Be’er Sheva just before the start of last season after scoring 18 goals from 55 games for Ra’anana.

English Journalist: England Will Regret letting Iwobi Play For Nigeria

Following Alex Iwobi stellar performances for Arsenal, respected English journalist Sami Mokbel who writes for the online version of Dailymail says England will regret losing the 20 year old to Nigeria.

In the past Nigeria have lost players with dual nationality to England at senior level. The most recent being Dele Alli and Ross Barkley of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton respectively.

However Iwobi who was yesterday voted Man of the Match in Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Chelsea. The third the 20 year old has won since breaking into the first time dared to be different.

Iwobi represented England at youth level before switching to play for Nigeria at senior level. A move Mokbel believes England will regret in the future judging by his recent performances for Arsenal.

“England will regret letting Alex Iwobi through their fingers. The Arsenal youngster is a star in the making but turned down England to play for Nigeria.

“The biggest compliment Arsene Wenger could pay him on Saturday was the fact he played him in such a stellar fixture.
And he took to it like a duck to water. Iwobi’s destined for the top.” He wrote in his review of Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Chelsea.

Nigerian forward Emmanuel Emenike who had a six month spell at West Ham, was on target for the second consecutive game as Fenerbahce beat Gaziantepspor 2-1 in a league game.

The goal took his season tally to two in five games in the league but five in the seven games he has played in all competitions for Fenerbahce this season.

Last weekend Emenike scored in their 5-1 hammering of Kasimpasa to open his season account for the Turkish giants, and he followed that up with a goal in the 22nd minute against Gaziantepspor.

Emenike opened scoring in the game but the visitors levelled matters ten minutes before the final whistle bringing the game to a late scramble for the winning goal.

Former Nigeria Junior International Fatai Powers Russian Club To Shock Away Win Over Spartak Moscow

Former Nigeria U-20 forward Kehinde Fatai was the hero for his Russian side UFA, scoring the lone goal as the shock Russian giants and league leaders Spartak Moscow 1-0 away from home.

Fatai joined UFA in the summer from Czech Republic side Sparta Praha, where he scored 15 league goals in two seasons at the club. After scoring his first goal for his new side against Terek Grozny in August, he ended the drought with a 39th minute strike.

Former Nigeria international Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi is having a purple patch in front of goal in Sweden after netting a brace for AlK in a 2-2 draw against Elfsborg.

The former Schalke 04 forward is hoping to relaunch his career in Sweden after almost two seasons without playing any form of competitive football, and so far, it has been a case of so far, so good for the former Hoffeinheim hitman.

30 year old Obasi now has four goals in five games, with three coming in his last two games for AlK. A sign of how much he has put aside the fitness issues that have haunted him in the past.
