Aris Limassol Complete Free Signing Of Super Eagles Defender

0

36 year old Nigeria international defender Leon Balogun has joined Cyprus side Aris Limassol on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Scottish side Rangers, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

His signing will become official on the 1st of July when his contract with Rangers will officially come to an end. The length of his contract with the Cypriot side wasn’t made known when the club announced his signing on their official website.

Balogun is expected to bring his wealth of knowledge to the team both at club and national level. He has played for teams in Germany, England and Scotland while at national level he has 46 senior caps for Nigeria.

His international career has however stalled the past two years when he last played for the team, there were chances that he will be called up for the recently concluded Unity Cup tournament in England, but the coach Eric Chelle opted for younger options.

Despite the snub, Balogun who have played at the world cup for Nigeria is still hopeful of getting another chance to add to his international appearance for the Super Eagles.

Fast Games, Small Bets, Big Thrill: How MostBet Egypt Became Egypt’s Go-To Platform for Instant Action

0

Online gambling has evolved from playing marathon casino games to snack-sized moments that get your heart pounding. While players are getting savvier and their attention spans are shorter, ‘instant action’ formats are gaining a lot of traction. Fast-paced games like Aviator and JetX offer bursts of excitement and quick gameplay, much better than long, drawn-out sessions.

Egyptian players have shifted their focus to fast-play games, prioritizing mobile play and value. MostBet Egypt, known as an early adopter of fast-paced games, is leading that movement. But why are fast, low-stake games dominating Egypt’s betting scene, and how did MostBet ride that wave? Let’s find out.

Gen Z and the Instant Gratification Economy

The latest trends in the digital space, like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short videos, require instant rewards. These feeds are a continuous stream of quick and snappy content, especially since most people today have a short attention span. It’s this same psychology that causes modern gamblers to play games that offer short loops and immediate payoffs.

MostBet Egypt targets this type of audience with quick login, short play cycles, and rapid wins, all perfectly made for today’s instant economy. The latest trends in Egypt reflect this shift, with features like

  • Mobile-first approach: Young players can now enjoy their gambling experience through phones and tablets, even without downloading the app. They prefer quick tap-in sessions when gambling.
  • Attention spans: Spiking between ads and Insta Reels, Gen Z players now look for games that match their consumption habits.
  • Risk appetite: Players are willing to bet small if the pace and rewards are quick. It’s best to place small bets multiple times than massive bets at once.

From Slots to Crash Games: Changing the Game Format

Traditional casino staples such as slots, poker, and roulette have gained a lot of attention among players for their familiar mechanics and immersive pacing. Even placing bets on the favorite sports teams requires skills. But games like these also demand longer play times, a deeper understanding of strategy, and more commitment of attention and investment.

They are built around slower cycles, and so the sessions can stretch from minutes to hours. Although skill and social interaction are important in playing these games, the overall experience leans towards a more patient and calculated type of gameplay.

In contrast, crash games such as MostBet Aviator and JetX, along with various mini-lotteries, have significantly reshaped the gaming landscape. These fast-paced alternatives offer short bursts of adrenaline, and each round can last a few seconds to a few minutes.

These games also have higher volatility, offering extreme highs or lows in very little time. What makes crash games more appealing to modern players is that there’s a higher sense of control. Players can choose when to cash out and ride the multipliers as far as they dare.

Instead of long sessions with drawn-out builds, fast games offer dozens of rapid cycles per hour, so user attention is locked in. Quick reflexes take precedence over strategy, and the gameplay is more individual and self-paced, relying less on player skills or social interaction.

After MostBet login, players can explore high-speed options like Aviator, JetX, and mini-lottery rounds. These formats meet the needs of players today, offering a rush of excitement, minimal waiting, and the freedom to bet when they want.

Low Risk, High Frequency: The Power of Small Bets

Nowadays, players love to bet small at high speed. The psychology of risk works in favor of fast games, and betting small per round will allow players to stretch budgets.

What’s more, players feel comfortable playing repeatedly, and they don’t have to pay much attention to the game with features like autoplay. With fast-paced games, players experience repeated dopamine hits when they win multipliers and instant wins.

With the MostBet app or website, the user experience promotes this fast-paced style. It features one-tap betting for instant play, minimal delays between each playing round and multiplier animations that spotlight the 2x, 5x, and 10x moments. Combined, these elements feed engagement, offering small capital, big excitement, and frequent plays. This allows player retention to increase.

How MostBet Optimized for Fast Play

When it comes to dominating Egypt’s fast-game betting scene, MostBet apps and platforms have gone beyond offering quick formats. The platform supports speed, ease and accessibility. • Streamlined MostBet App Download Process: Whether using Android or iOS, the MostBet app download process is fast and hassle-free. The app’s intuitive layout makes it simple for users to find their favorite fast games or explore new releases with a few taps.

Will Long Sessions Survive?

With the latest trends, players are wondering whether slow games are becoming niche. If that’s the case, will long sessions remain, and will traditional formats still be appealing? Well, although fast games dominate in volume, traditional games like online slots, poker, or blackjack are still attractive to players.

Long session games are still attractive to VIP players who enjoy gambling with strategy and long-term return on investment. It’s also a good choice for poker and live casino enthusiasts that value skill and trading in their gambling experience. Also, only long games like these can be used in tournaments and come with progressive jackpots.

After MostBet login, players can enjoy a hybrid model. The fast game lobby is the flagship page, but in a single click, you can switch to live casino or tournament zones. It uses incentives like fast game bonuses and high roller promotions.

While fast games attract the masses, deep session formats still serve a strategic audience, and MostBet supports both.

Greek Giants Suffer Setback In Bid To Sign Back In Favour Super Eagles Striker

0

The impending transfer of Nigeria international forward Cyriel Dessers to Greek side AEK Athens from Scottish side Rangers isn’t progressing as expected, OwnGoalNigeria.com understands.

Since joining Rangers he has scored a total of 51 goals in two seasons and won the league’s top scorer award last season, but the club are open to his exit in a bid to raise cash to bolster other areas of concerns in the team.

30 year old Dessers has already agreed personal terms with the former Greek champions but talks between both teams for a transfer fee hasn’t been agreed since the start of last week.

There is still a significant difference in their valuation of Dessers, who has won his spot back in the senior national team of Nigeria after impressing at the recently concluded Unity Cup tournament in England.

He scored in the opening day 2-1 win over Ghana, and had an assist in the final 5-4 penalty kicks win over Jamaica after a 2-2 draw in regulation time. Dessers will be hoping for his first competitive appearance when the team converge for the resumption of games in the world cup qualifiers in September.

Super Eagles Star Close In On 600 Million Naira A Month Deal With Newly Promoted Ligue 1 Side

0

Newly promoted French Ligue 1 side Paris FC have offered Nigeria international winger Moses Simon a three year deal with a monthly salary of €300,000 (600 million Naira) a month, twice what he is presently earning at fellow French Ligue 1 side Nantes, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Paris FC aim is to make the 29 year old their statement signing in the wake of the takeover by the arnault family and the Red Bull brand. Simon has already said yes to their proposal.

Nantes have been locked in talks over his transfer, and after initially refusing an opening offer of €5m , both teams are said to be closing in on an agreement for €6m potentially rising to €8m with add ons.

Reports of an agreement and a proposed medical is wide off the mark as the winger isn’t even in France at the moment. He left Nigeria one week ago for holiday with his family.

The figure is close to the valuation that Nantes have of the forward who has just a year left on his deal after spending five years at the club. Last season he had ten assists with eight goals from 32 games.

Simon is presently on holiday with his family, and he is expected to return to Nigeria next week but might likely complete the move before coming home for the concluding part of his holiday.

Club World Cup Campaigners Break Ties With One Cap Super Eagles Midfielder

0

Club World Cup team RB Salzburg have let go of former Nigeria U17 captain Samson Tijani following the expiration of his contract , OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

The 23 year old signed for the Austrian giants in 2020 after his exploits for Nigeria at the 2019 U17 World Cup. He failed to crack the first team on a regular basis making just five appearances with most of his appearances coming for the B team.

He also spent time on loan with three different teams namely TSV Hartberg, Fredrikstad and Wolfsberger AC, where it was hoped that he will get regular game time to aid his growth and development.

Comfortable as a defensive midfielder or as a central midfielder, he was tipped to be a senior national team player for Nigeria, but his career hasn’t matched expectations yet.

Capped once by Nigeria in 2020, his contract wasn’t renewed upon it’s expiration last month, and it’s why he wasn’t listed in their squad for the ongoing club world cup. Reports say he is already in Czech Republic for trials with an unnamed team with the hope of securing a contract.

Does Osimhen’s Future lie in Saudi?

0

As the summer transfer window starts to gain traction, there is more and more speculation regarding the future of Nigerian striker Osimhen’s future. Having been on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray this season, he’s now got a tough decision to make in the next few weeks to decide where his next club will be.

With Osimhen looking very unlikely to return back to Napoli following his loan spell in Turkey, the live betting odds on where he will end up next are really starting to heat up. Whilst he’s been linked with a few different European clubs, one of the most exciting possibilities would be for him to join a team in Saudi Arabia.

With a host of the top talents in the world now playing there, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him link up with some of these players next season. In this article we’ll be taking a look into what Osimhen’s future will look like in this transfer window and where he’s most likely to end up.

Manchester United

Apart from Saudi Arabia, Osimhen has been linked to a number of European clubs this window. One of these clubs is Manchester United, who are desperate for a new number nine this summer. After one of their most disappointing seasons in recent history, Manchester United will be looking to bounce back this summer, and Osimhen potentially being vital to that rebuild.

Their two main strikers have severely underperformed this year and it’s clear they may just not be up to the level required to take the club to where they need to be. Osimhen would bring a vast amount of experience and add that extra spark up front they’ve been missing in recent years. Signing him also makes sense for the two other strikers, who could take a step back and learn from one of the best strikers currently available.

Saudi Arabia

Osimhen isn’t the first big star to be linked with Saudi Arabia and he certainly won’t be the last. In recent years, numerous top players have made the switch and not looked back. Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Ngolo Kante are just to name a few that swapped the high life of European football for the glamour and riches of Saudi.

Understandably, one of the main lures of Saudi Arabia is the incredible salaries they can offer their players. With most of these players receiving hundreds of thousands a week, it’s no wonder so many players have made the switch.

If reports are true and Osimhen does make the switch over, he’d likely become one of the highest paid players in the league, up there with the likes of Ronaldo in terms of wage. At only 26 years of age, he would be leaving Europe at the top of his game. However with the amount of money Saudi Arabian teams are able to offer, it’s an incredibly difficult decision to make.

Back to Italy

There is a real possibility that Osimhem ends up returning back to Italy. Despite falling out with Napoli manager Conte who replaced the striker with Lukaku at Napoli, there would be a number of clubs in Italy desperate to get his signature. The most likely destinations would be either Juventus or Inter Milan.

Juventus have a history of plucking the best players from other teams in Italy, and with them falling behind in recent years, it would be the perfect statement signing to say they’re ready to take their crown back.

With rumours always floating around Inter Milan striker Martinez and a move to Barcelona, if he were to leave, Osimhen could be the perfect replacement to fill that gap and lead the line for them. It would just depend on Inter getting a sizable fee for their captain and star striker.

Stay in Turkey

There is also the small chance that he decides to stay in Turkey with Galatasaray. Having been in lethal form this season, it’s no wonder the club are doing everything in their power to keep him at the club beyond this season. Tearing up the league this year, he may feel this is currently the best place possible for both himself and his football, somewhere where he can express himself and feel like the main man at the club and lead them to multiple titles.

With the pool of star strikers smaller than ever, a player like Osimhen has never been in more demand. His ability to score goals on a consistent basis is something that’s extremely rare and is something that many clubs will be looking for.

Osimhen has a massive few weeks ahead of him in this transfer window, and he won’t be short of potential new destinations. It all depends, will he end up in Saudi Arabia this window?

TEAM 360 target redemption at 2025 1xCup

0

From July to October, Nigeria will host the 1xCup, an annual amateur football tournament organised by global betting company 1xBet.

The 1xCup, organised by global betting company 1xBet, has become one of the country’s most prestigious grassroots tournaments, offering a ₦20 million prize pool and an opportunity for local talents to shine.

Registration begins from June 2 to 20.

TEAM 360’s president and founder, Hamza Akeem Oladimeji, expressed strong optimism about the team’s prospects this year.

“We want to redeem ourselves,” he said, pointing to a strengthened lineup and key players like team captain Feranmi Olusegun and rising star Raheem Muiz.

“With the fans behind us, anything is possible.”

Founded in 2013 by Oladimeji in Surulere, Lagos, TEAM 360 was born out of a desire to give young, talented boys a platform to excel through football.

The team participated in the 1xCup 2024 but faced challenges due to the absence of some key players who had moved abroad for professional opportunities.

Despite the setback, a memorable match against Bariga United, marked by intense fan support, left a lasting impression on the team.

“The atmosphere felt like a Champions League final,” Oladimeji recalled.

“We lost, but there was no bitterness.

“The spirit of unity and sportsmanship inspired us to return stronger.”

The 1xCup has become a launchpad for amateur players aiming for professional careers, with scouts and fans closely watching for Nigeria’s next football stars.

“Some of these boys could be the next Jay-Jay Okocha or Victor Osimhen,” Oladimeji said.

Aside from national pride and recognition, participants are also drawn to the tournament’s rich incentives.

The champions will receive ₦10 million, while the best goal scorer will earn a ₦300,000 prize and tickets to Nigeria’s matches at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Registration for the tournament runs from June 2 to June 20.

As anticipation builds, TEAM 360 and other community teams across the country are training hard for a shot at glory.

Ex Super Eagles Coach Reveals Osimhen’s Penalty Act After Training Ground Fight With Emmanuel Dennis

0

Former Super Eagles assistant coach Acacio Santos has revealed how top striker Victor Osimhen surprised them in a game a day after he had a training ground fight with his teammate Emmanuel Dennis, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Santos worked with Osimhen as an assistant to Jose Peseiro with the Super Eagles and in an interview with Sky Sports largely centered on the future of the 26 year old, which is a trending topic following his decision to turn down a mega money offer from Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal.

Still expected to leave Napoli before the end of this summer transfer window, Osimhen who spent last season on loan to Galatasary where he fired them to the league and cup double has been told to not remain at the club, rather target a move to the English Premier League.

“I respect Galatasaray, of course,” Santos tells Sky Sports. “But Victor deserves to be in the Premier League, where the light would be shining on him”, Santos said.

He went forward to explain the competitive nature of the forward , who he said is complex to manage due to his insatiable desire of always wanting to win at all times , even during training something which caused a fight with Dennis before the Super Eagles game against Sao Tome and Principe in the AFCON qualifiers.

“One day before the game, Vitor had a bit of a fight with Emmanuel Dennis in a seven-against-seven exercise. This player was relaxing a little bit, a bit chilled. This was normal because there was a game the next day. But Victor wanted more. He was so demanding”, the coach said.

“We were a little bit surprised by his attitude. It was good. We liked it. But we thought he should calm down, maybe. The next day, he scored four goals.” They came in what was a record-breaking 10-0 victory over Sao Tome and Principe in the summer of 2023.

“After scoring his four goals, suddenly we had a penalty. Everybody expected Victor to grab the ball for the fifth. The poker. But no, Victor gave the ball to Dennis, the team-mate he had fought with the day before who had never scored for the national team.

“This is an example that tells you a lot about Victor Osimhen. Instead of having five goals, he preferred to give his team-mate his first goal. Others like to talk in the dressing room. Victor is a leader through his behaviour, through his work, through his example.”
