Albanian Club Reveals Real Reason Why They Didn’t Sign Fringe Super Eagles Right-Back

0

Top division Albanian side FK Partizani has confirmed pulling the plug on a proposed deal to sign Nigeria international defender Sodiq Ismail from Remo Stars, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Sodiq who has three caps for Nigeria at senior level, two with the B team and one with the main side was billed to join the Albanian side after helping the Super Eagles B go past Ghana to seal a spot at the next CHAN tournament.

The right-back left the shores of Nigeria to seal the move, but returned to Nigeria after an anomaly was discovered during a routine medical before the formal signing of the transfer document.

According to Albanian media Newsport, the club said the player suffers from cardiac insufficiency, making it impossible for the club to conclude the deal hence his return to Nigeria, where he has since resumed training with Remo Stars.

His Nigerian club is yet to respond to the claims, but sources close to the defender say the deal fell through due to a disagreement over terms, which includes transfer fees , wages and length of the contract.

Al-Nassr Keep Boniface Waiting, Prefers Signing Of Aston Villa Star For More Money, Higher Wages

0

The impending transfer of Nigeria international forward Victor Boniface to Saudi Arabia outfit Al-Nassr is possibly heading to the rocks according to lastest reports.

Al-Nassr have verbally agreed a transfer fee of €60m with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of the 24 year old, who have also agreed personal terms and passed a routine medical. Al-Nassr however place payment of the agreed transfer fee on hold.

Boniface who extended his deal secretly last week and got his wages increased to €6m per year till 2029 reportedly agreed €15m a year deal with the Saudis. Almost three times the worth of his present pay but still hasn’t been able to complete the move due to some reluctance on the part of Al-Nassr.

Per multiple reports, the club are actively chasing Aston Villa forward Jhon Durán and have already offered to pay a transfer fee in excess of €70m. A whooping €10m more than what they agreed to pay for the transfer of Boniface.

They also agreed to pay the 25 year old Colombian €18m a year, €3m more than what was agreed with Boniface. A sign that he is their priority signing with the Nigerian seen as a backup option.

French media Le’quipe says all that is left is for Dhuran to undergo a routine medical as both clubs have agreed on key details of the deal.

If it goes as expected, they could pull the plug on the verbal agreement with Boniface, as they have cash and space for only one major signing. In the event that both are signed Boniface will likely be loaned out to another team in Saudi Arabia.

An announcement on the way forward is expected to be made before the close of the transfer window in Saudi Arabia on Thursday. In the main time Boniface is in Germany waiting for instructions before flying to Saudi or staying put.

Napoli Reject Latest Attempt By Galatasary To Sign Osimhen Permanently For €65m, Insist On €75m Clause

0

Napoli have rejected attempts by Galatasary to turn the loan deal of Victor Osimhen into a permanent transfer in the ongoing January transfer window, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Galatasary offered the sum of €65m to the Italian side for the permanent signing of the Nigerian who has scored 15 goals this season, but it was rejected outrightly.

Osimhen’s loan deal does not involve the option of Turkish side signing him permanently, but they attempted to use the January break clause in his deal which allows him to leave for €81m.

Galatasary offered €65m as they are due €6m in the event of the departure of the Nigerian in January. They are the only club who can sign Osimhen for less because of the financial compensation they are due in the event of his exit.

Napoli are however not in a hurry to do a deal and will rather wait till the summer when his value would be reduced to €75m rather than sell him for less in January.

His clause was initially pegged at €130m, but was lowered in the summer after his decision to sign a new deal, before joining the Turks on loan following the collapse of a proposed move to Chelsea, and Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal.

Sevilla Sporting Director Defends Decision To Sign Super Eagles Hopeful Ahead Of Brazilian Forward

0

The sporting director of Sevilla Victor Orta has defended the decision made by the club to sign Nigerian striker Jerome Akor from Ligue 1 side Montpellier ahead of Brazilian forward Alerrandro of Brazilian side Red Bull Bragantino, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Both players were targeted by the club as potential reinforcement to their attack , but in the end the club settled for the Nigerian despite the fact that his last goal came in November last year.

Orta was forced to defend their choice to go for Akor who has just three goals to his name this season ahead of the Brazilian who finished last season in Brazil with 15 goals and four assists.

He started by defining the characteristics of Akor: “He is a player we have been following for a long time. In his time in Norway and beginnings in Montpellier, where he had excellent numbers”, he explained.

“Then due to the circumstances of the team he did not maintain that level, but when we saw that he was available in the market we did not hesitate to hire him because he can give us physical, speed, back-back play, aggressiveness … He is a fairly complete striker who has already gone through a powerful league like the French one, with a lot of mark and aggressiveness. Here you can add and contribute with all those virtues.

“We have reached an extraordinary option with Akor, we are satisfied.

“He is a good finisher. He even assists with his head, leaves many second plays for the arrival of the teammates. For the rival centers it is difficult to score because it is not only high. It is agile and has mobility. It is one of the reasons to occupy the area with a player with different characteristics from what we currently have.”

After that he explained the main reason why Akor was picked ahead of Alerrandro: “We make a technical, economic, adequacy and adaptability evaluation. We made the decision the sports direction with the president and the coach. We decided that it could be that Akor could add more to us from the beginning and that was the decision, putting everything on the table.”

Super Eagles Players Wanted Peseiro Gone After AFCON – He Played Negative Football

0

A host of players of the senior national team of Nigeria who were at the last Africa Cup of Nations unanimously endorsed the exit of Jose Peseiro as the coach of the team after the tournament, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Peseiro’s deal ran out two weeks after the final game, which the Super Eagles lost 1-2 to the host Cote d’Ivoire. He met the target of reaching the semi final to get an extension to his deal, but the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) opt against extending his stay.

NFF arrived at the decision after consultation with senior players in the team, who were all unhappy with the negative approach of the coach in the build up to the final. His style was seen as two defensive by the players and they advised the NFF against extending his stay.

One of the players highlighted the semi final game against South Africa as a case study saying he kept on instructing them to defend their slim win by ceding possession rather than go all out and finish the game. It backfired when South Africa leveled and forced them into penalty kicks.

It wasn’t any better in the final especially after they went ahead. They sat back and defended on his instructions but caved in when the host scored two late goals to clinch the trophy. It led to a heated disagreement with most of the senior players in the team leading to his exit as coach.

English Premier League champions Manchester City will go into today’s game in the UEFA Champions League seeking a win, which will help them seal a spot in the top 25 teams and secure a place in the play off for the next round, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

City have not had the best of run in this year’s tournament and they are facing the prospect of exiting the tournament, after letting a two goal lead slip against PSG to lose 2-4 in the last round of games.

Ahead of today’s must win game against Belgium side Club Brugge, head coach Pep Guardiola who hasn’t seen City perform so badly both in domestic and continental games has highlighted the importance of Nigeria international midfielder Raphael Onyedika.

“The patterns defensively are really good, especially with the holding midfielder and creating overlaps in certain positions,” he said. “We have to be focused on the way we have to attack and man-marking, because I don’t know the shape of what they are going to do to create the spaces to attack.”

Rumoured as a potential target for the English Premier League giants in the summer, Onyedika boast of an amazing statistics this season in the UEFA Champions League.

His stats are comparable to those of PSG’s João Neves, who was highlighted by Uefa’s technical report for his performance in the 4-2 win over Man City.

Neves has averaged 10.9 kilometres per match in the Champions League this season, while Onyedika has clocked 10.5km. Onyedika’s passing accuracy has been 90.34 per cent throughout the competition.

Borussia Dortmund Confident Over Deal For Super Eagles AFCON 2024 Midfield Ace

0

German giants Borussia Dortmund have lined up a move for Nigeria international midfielder Raphael Onyedika of Belgium side Club Brugge, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Dortmund are looking for a replacement for the injured Felix Nmecha in the January transfer window, and their ideal target is the 23 year old Nigerian, who is expected to be crucial for Club Brugge in today’s UEFA Champions League game against Manchester City.

Tracked by a host of European giants including today’s opponent, Dortmund are however silently confident of getting the deal done ahead of their rivals, as they present an instant route for him to play almost immediately and develop further.

A fee in the region of €30m is what the Belgium side will reportedly demand as his transfer fee, but with their chances of going far in this season’s Champions League still alive they have ruled out any potential deal in the January transfer window, but will be open to offers for him in the summer.

English Premier League side Aston Villa made inquiries about signing the Nigeria international in the summer, but opted to sign Belgian Amadou Onana from Everton due to his Premier League experience.

They are not expected to be in the running in the summer with other top European teams now aware of Onyedika’s amazing statistics this season in the UEFA Champions League.

His stats are comparable to those of PSG’s João Neves, who was highlighted by Uefa’s technical report for his performance in the 4-2 win.

Neves has averaged 10.9 kilometres per match in the Champions League this season, while Onyedika has clocked 10.5km. Onyedika’s passing accuracy has been 90.34 per cent throughout the competition.

We Must Fix It – Chelle Identifies Major Weakness In Super Eagles Squad Ahead Of World Cup Qualifiers

0

Newly appointed coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle is fully focused on their upcoming World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe respectively, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Chelle isn’t getting involved in any talks about the AFCON in December, a tournament that will be happening after the conclusion of the world cup qualifiers in October. Pending on how the Super Eagles perform at the qualifiers he could be out of job by then.

For that reason his main goal is to ensure that the team claw their way back into contention to qualify for the world cup, after a poor start which has left them four points behind the leaders and without a win in the first four games.

In the build up to the games in March, the coach has identified one major area he must fix before the games, and it’s the defence which he feels doesn’t have enough pace to cope with balls over the top. They are also suspect from set pieces.

His idea is to fashion a style that will see the central defence where the main issue is he more organized, and it could probably lead to the dropping of one of the duo of William Troost-Ekong or Semi Ajayi who have been first choice pairing when the team plays with a back four.

We exclusively gathered that he could retain the 3-4-3 formation that worked for the team at the AFCON, but will emphasize more on dominating possession and also playing with two attacking midfielders and a lone defensive midfielder.

How Online Gaming is Evolving to Offer More Surprises and Challenges

0

In the past years, online gaming has experienced a remarkable change, transitioning from basic, restricted experiences to intricate, vast worlds that provide limitless opportunities. As new technologies emerge and player expectations evolve, the gaming industry consistently adjusts to deliver more unexpected elements and challenges that maintain player engagement. From AI-enhanced gameplay to engaging environments, online games continually expand the limits of what can be achieved in interactive entertainment.

The Rise of Immersive Worlds

A significant change in online gaming is the development of engaging worlds that surpass basic, two-dimensional settings. Games including TUBET are crafted to offer immersive, multi-dimensional experiences where every part of the world appears vibrant with movement.

Virtual environments are more than mere backdrops for action; they serve as lively ecosystems that react to player engagement. This progression is driven by robust graphics, advanced physics engines, and expansive open-world layouts that enable players to traverse detailed terrains, engage with NPCs (non-player characters), and discover concealed features within the game environment.

The gaming environment appears more natural, and its unpredictability adds to the challenge. Gamers are always uncertain about what lies ahead, resulting in every session being distinctive and packed with unexpected elements.

Artificial Intelligence Enhancing Gameplay

Artificial intelligence has greatly influenced the progression of online gaming by allowing for more interactive and adaptive gameplay. The emergence of advanced AI systems enables more difficult challenges and clever adversaries that adapt based on the player’s tactics.

Gameplay powered by AI not only raises the difficulty level but also brings in an aspect of unpredictability.  Additionally, AI is facilitating procedural generation, allowing segments of the game world, like levels, dungeons, or quests, to be created dynamically using algorithms. This procedure guarantees that every experience is unique, offering players a new array of challenges every time they engage.

Evolving Game Mechanics and Complexity

Game mechanics have progressed considerably throughout the years, becoming increasingly complex and nuanced. In past online games, the gameplay tended to be linear, featuring straightforward mechanics that enabled players to primarily concentrate on combat or exploration.

However, modern TU Entertainment City (TU樂城) online games present more intricate systems that demand players to simultaneously grasp various mechanics. Players currently possess greater influence over their strategies for facing challenges, whether by honing particular skills, creating tailored equipment, or collaborating with fellow players.

These mechanics create opportunities for various strategies, and the difficulty is in mastering every facet of the game to achieve success.

Social and Competitive Dynamics

Online gaming has transformed from a single gaming activity to an experience that is highly communal. The emergence of e-sports and competitive gaming has brought forth fresh challenges, as players now contend not only with AI but also with talented human rivals capable of adapting and evolving instantly.

Players create teams, guilds, or factions, and the dynamics within these groups can significantly influence the gameplay experience. From managing tactics in team-oriented games to participating in intricate social exchanges within the game environment, the involvement of fellow players introduces an unexpected dimension.

The erratic tendencies of human actions, together with the tactics of other participants, generate a scenario that is challenging to duplicate using AI by itself.
