Spanish Side Racing Santander Keen On Signing Fringe Super Eagles Midfielder

0

The relegation of Ponferradina to the third division of Spanish League has opened the door for their top players to leave the club in the summer transfer window, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

One of such players is fringe Nigeria international midfielder Kelechi Nwakali, who joined the team last summer on a two year deal after his contract was terminated by fellow second division side Huesca.

Nwakali played in 36 of the team’s 48 games last season, where they suffered demotion to the third division putting his future up in the air but that doesn’t look like it will be for long with Mikel Martija, the coach of fellow second division side Racing Santander confirming their interest in the 25 year old.

Ponferradina will demand a nominal fee for his transfer which many believe might be a club record fee. Already Nwakali is sure to get a lot of interest and probably commanding a wage of around 400,000 euros a year.

However reports has it that Racing are not looking towards signing any player for a transfer fee or release clause owing to their dire financial issue and that could hinder the deal, unless Nwakali is able to terminate his remaining one year left with the club.

How The Super Eagles Defence Will Look Like Against Sierra Leone- Omeruo In, Ekong Out

0

The senior national team of Nigeria have left the shores of Nigeria for Monrovia, where they will take on Sierra Leone, a game they need to win in order to seal a spot at next year Africa Cup of Nations, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Led by head coach Jose Peseiro, the team had three different training sessions in Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena before departure earlier today. A total of 23 players made the trip to Liberia , where Sierra Leone play their home games.

Peseiro appears to have made up his mind on what the back four of the team will look like as seen in the training sessions the team had before departure. For the look of things he will settle for the same back four that prosecuted the game against Guinea Bissau away from home.

The back four that helped Nigeria to a 1-0 win that day was without first vice captain of the team William Troost Ekong and from all indications, it will be the same back four with Kenneth Omeruo coming in for the captain.

Omeruo will pair Semi Ajayi in the heart of the defence with the pair of Bright Osayi-Samuel and Zaidu Sanusi playing as right and left full back respectively. This much we observed from all of the team’s training session in Lagos.

The senior national team of Nigeria will hand debut to a new goalkeeper when they take on Sierra Leone in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Regular goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is suspended for this game and wasn’t a part of the 23 man squad called up for the game. Head coach Jose Peseiro went for the trio of Adebayo Adeleye, Victor Sochima and Olorunleke Ojo from Hapoel Jerusalem, Rivers United and Enyimba FC of Aba.

They have been the three goalkeepers who have been pushing to be in goal under the watchful eyes of their trainer Abideen Baruwa and a decision has been made on who will be in goal on Sunday in Monrovia. A game which a win will seal Nigeria’s spot at the AFCON.

Peseiro has already confirmed to the backroom staff of the team that Adeleye will be in goal for the game because he has the experience of playing in a big game in front of a  hostile crowd. Something they expect to be the same in Monrovia.

The game will be his official debut although he kept the second half of the 2-2 draw against the B team of Algeria in a friendly game but the game wasn’t an official one. The Super Eagles used it as a warm up game ahead of the game against the main team of Algeria, which was played three days later.

Considerations to Make When Choosing a Football Betting Site

0

Introduction

Today, there are over a thousand betting sites, so it’s essential to thoroughly examine them before choosing the right one.  Comparing, however, may often be difficult due to how similar most betting sites seem at first glance.  Since they both provide a nearly equal range of betting possibilities and fundamental characteristics, it is crucial to look a little more. Continue reading to learn more about the factors you should consider when picking the finest betting site.

Football Betting Site Legality

First, you must confirm that the relevant Gambling Commission controls the betting sites.  You may check out the betting site evaluations online or via the apps store on your phone.  Since international sports betting is becoming increasingly legal, you should consider this seriously.

Examine Internet Reviews

Reading internet evaluations from other sources and speaking with other gamblers are other options for selecting a betting site. You may pick a reputable business such as UFA96 by looking for online bookies with favorable evaluations across various sites, user feedback and comments, and additional research.

Each review must include details about the different deposit choices, bonuses provided, sports covered, and betting alternatives.  This gives users a genuine understanding of what it is like to use the site, which ultimately matters.

Customer Service

High-quality customer service is one of the essential characteristics of a reliable sports betting platform.  Choose a website that enables phone, email, or live chat contact.  This is critical because you will want assistance from the bookmaker if you are unable to log in, place a bet, or withdraw winnings.A betting site’s professionalism and caliber are also demonstrated by its clear lines of communication and superior customer service.

Coverage

The quality of odds coverage is another crucial component, especially when attempting to spot shrinking or widening odds.  You won’t obtain an accurate picture of the betting patterns for a race or match if the betting site you select has a soft focus on a particular sport or geographical area.  Betting services from the nation where those leagues are headquartered will provide excellent coverage for some top sports leagues.  For instance, English betting businesses would likely provide better service for premier league betting.

Payment Methods

One of the main criteria should be the payment methods a sports betting service accepts.  Good betting sites often have many payment alternatives, making a deposit quick and straightforward.  Do they provide payment options that are recognized in your nation?  What kind of payment ease do they provide?  Consider factors such as the cheapest rates and the quickest processing.

Because e-wallets are ideal for various gaming activities, some betting sites employ them.  The most well-known sports betting sites accept many other payment methods, including bank transfers, prepaid cards, debit/credit cards, checks, and others.  Additionally, look at how simple the withdrawal procedure is since this is crucial in separating a reputable sports betting site from one less trustworthy.

Conclusion

There is no such thing as a “top” sports betting site because even one that functions flawlessly for one person may not provide the same experience for another.  You may select a trustworthy sports betting site such as UFA96 by taking into account the aforementioned characteristics and conducting extensive research.  Simply verify that the website is legally licensed, has outstanding security, a wide range of betting possibilities, and has high standards of customer care.

Ligue 1 Side Nantes Keen On Wrapping Up Deal For Ex Nigeria U20 Striker

0

The summer transfer window will no doubt see lot of Nigerian players swap teams and one of such players is Norwegian based former Nigeria U20 striker Jerome Adams Akor.

French Ligue 1 side Nantes are in the market for a forward and the power playing 2019 Nigeria U20 World Cup striker fits the bill especially as the club will cut loose two strikers in  departures Evan Guessand and Andy Delort in the summer.

Nantes are also not certain about the future of Marcos Coco leaving Mostafa Mohamed as their only real option heading into next season. They want to move quickly and solve the strikers department to avoid a similar case like last season, where they escaped relegation on the final day of the season.

Talks have been held with the representatives of the Nigerian led by Atta Aneke, but they are not the only team pushing for his signing in the summer with Belgium side Union Saint-Gilloise also in the race.

AC Milan Lines Up Super Eagles Prospect As Back Up Plan In Quest To Sign A Striker

0

Italian giants AC Milan will be one of the busiest teams in the summer transfer window after a disappointing season that saw them lost the league title to Napoli.

Their team is badly in need of reinforcement in attack as it was one of the areas where they struggled the most in the just concluded season both in the league and European cup competition.

One of the players they have their sights on is France World Cup star Marcus Thuram, who is available for free after the expiration of his deal at German Bundesliga side Borrusia Monchengladbach.

The 25 year old who scored 13 goals and provided six assists last season is their prime target but they also have other options lined up in the event that they fail to land the son of former France world cup winner Lillian Thuram.

Hot on the heels of reports of an agreement to sign Samuel Chukwueze, they are also exploiting the possibility of signing another Nigerian in Victor Boniface who was a revelation last season fot Belgium side Union Saint-Gilloise.

Boniface who finished as joint top scorer in the Europa League is tracked by lot of clubs in need of reinforcement in attack and he is valued in the region of €20-30m. A decent fee for a player who scored 22 goals in all competitions last season.
