Why SoFi’s Anthony Noto believes crypto is the future

0

Ever since Bitcoin was launched back in the late 2000s, the crypto market has thrived to the point where it has become mainstream. People have shown interest in the crypto market because of its potential. They are also enticed by the concept of investing in all available assets.

Cryptocurrencies and other assets in the crypto market have taken over the world in the past few years. This has led to multiple huge personalities like Elon Musk and other Hollywood actors investing in the crypto market. This should also include the likes of non-fungible tokens which has been a huge hit among various industries.

Some people from the finance industry have joined the growing number of investors. This includes SoFi CEO Anthony Noto who has shown that he owns cryptocurrencies but at the same time, he and his family believe that there is a lot of potential with this market.

The possibilities with crypto are endless, from replacing the traditional fiat currency to letting you bet with Bitcoin on gambling platforms. Read further about why Noto believe in this digital’s asset potential for the future

He believes the technology is advantageous to any company

Noto believes in the tech behind blockchain and cryptocurrencies. He also believes that any company that doesn’t take advantage of this technology will be lost in the shuffle because the current innovation can leave them obsolete. He has a good point about this because most industries are evolving and getting a leg up on most technologies should be a recommended move.

With many possibilities in the crypto industry, you can look at innovations like blockchain which can play a huge role in companies’ improvements. Noto has a good point when talking about improvements because most industries have grown stale over the years which should not be a level they settle for. Noto wants most companies to thrive and he believes crypto tech will help in doing so.

He said, ‘We’re invested in cryptocurrency—we own Bitcoin, we own Ethereum, we own some of the more obscure and different cryptocurrencies, but it’s a very small part of what we own. If you don’t innovate, and you don’t use cryptocurrency as a technology platform, you’ll get left behind. Your business will be smaller. You’ll be less competitive. You will have less innovation and less of a value proposition for consumers’.

Noto sees cryptocurrencies becoming the next great asset

In the past century, fiat currencies have ruled over the world with the likes of the US dollar, British pound, and the euro have all been groundbreaking. However, you should also see the future of cryptocurrencies and how they can become the norm of the future.

It’s not hard to see that cryptocurrencies have solid potential because they have already taken over the world in just a decade. If you project that to a long-term timeline, you can expect that the crypto market will thrive and turn into a vital part of the future.

When you look at the giants in the financial markets like billionaire Mark Cuban, they are ready to pull through with the crypto industry. Cuban himself is interested in the assets including cryptocurrencies and NFTs which strengthens the industry’s future.

With the support of people like Noto and Cuban, more people can take notice of the crypto market and invest in this digital asset. Since we live in a world where everything can be processed or accessed online, people will greatly benefit with crypto in various activities including times when people try to bet with Bitcoin on their favourite sports or casino games.

One of the most anticipated sporting events in the world took place last Sunday, February 13 – we are talking about Super Bowl in its 56th edition. The National Football League (NFL) championship was marked by Eminem’s performance and by one of the star players: Larry Ogunjobi.

The importance of this event is so vital that the most crucial advertising agencies reserve around 11 months in advance a spot of only a few minutes for up to 2 million dollars. This way, they can present their most creative commercials and reach the largest possible audience. Although the financial results for this year are still being calculated, in 2021, a year marked by the pandemic, the audience of the Super Bowl was recorded in decline, and it was still 96.4 million viewers.

Who is this Nigerian-descendant player?

The American defensive tackle has carried the Nigerian flag in the National Football League since 2017, the moment his career started with Cleveland Browns, and since March 19, 2021, with Cincinnati Bengals. Born and raised in Livingston, New Jersey, his parents are originally from Nigeria and take pride in his son’s double majoring in computer science and biology while playing college football at Charlotte University of North Carolina.

At 27 years old, Ogunjobi has 229 total tackles during his NFL career, making him one of the best currently at his position. These guys represent the dream of many others worldwide, as many athletes want to reach this level in their careers. During the most recent annual playoff of the NFL, Ogunjobi made his fans in New Jersey proud, along with the other 6 Nigerians who participated in the championship.

The Bengals vs Rams: a close story

Last Sunday, Ogunjobi and his Nigerian compatriot Hakeem Adeniji participated in one of the tensest and close games in the championship history, resulting in the final score of 20-23 in favour of the Los Angeles Rams. On this occasion, the first part belonged to the locals, who dominated 13-10. However, the powerful halftime show with Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem fueled the Bengals, scoring 16-20. And it is here where the performance of our favourites stood out remarkably.

It seems football fans have quite followed the history of these two teams. The two have met 15 times (including 1 postseason game), with the Cincinnati Bengals winning 8 games and the Los Angeles Rams winning 7 games. The last time they shared the field was in October 2019.

Ogunjobi’s future in NFL

Larry Ogunjobi’s contract with the NFL expires next year. He notes that he started 16 games in 2021, recording seven sacks, 49 tackles, and a career-high 12 tackles for loss. This is a great career opportunity for this player, and just by being a part of one of the most televised championships in sports history, he already deserves a long life in the NFL.

Agent- Pinnick Is Forcing Ighalo, Dennis On Super Eagles Coaches, Thumbs Up Eguavoen

The recent move by president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has been termed as a way of forcing players on interim coach of the Super Eagles Austine Eguavoen.

Pinnick met with Al Ahli forward Odion Ighalo who wasn’t a part of the sqaud that crashed out of the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations during the club world cup.

He took to Twitter to announce that he has met with the forward who assured him that he is ready to play for Nigeria in the World Cup qualifiers playoff against Ghana in March. ” That’s not his job. It’s similar to putting the coach under pressure to call Ighalo. What if he is not in the plans of the coach”, Adebayo Akinwale, a football agent base in London told OwnGoalNigeria.com.

” Pinnick is forcing Ighalo on Eguavoen. He did same with Cyriel Dessers and to a large extent made ex coach Gernot Rohr to keep him out because he felt his authority is been undermined. It took a while before Rohr gave Dessers a look in”, he stated.

On the recent post where Pinnick met with Super Eagles players alongside the coaches of the national team in Austine Eguavoen and Emmanuel Amuneke. Akinwale insist that the presence of the duo of Emmanuel Dennis and Samuel Kalu is still a way of imposing them on the coach.

” Eguavoen don’t want Dennis. That is what I know for sure but Pinnick’s publicity stunt has placed him under huge pressure to call him up even Kalu. Such meetings if needed should be handled by the coach and not the NFF president. The coach knows players who are in his plans”, he concluded.

He went forward to explain that a change in formation also aided the Nigerian who also showed good work ethics especially against a Leeds United team, who usually make teams sweat when in possession.

“What Alex has done is trained at a great level. He’s a quiet lad, keeps his head down, trains with talent, trains with work ethic”, he said after the game .

“The way we changed the formation of the team and played with wide men, Alex just sort of demanded a place in the team with his performance. He just needs to believe in himself. I said it to him before the game.

“I certainly believe in him with the things I’ve seen. The work ethic side of the game he shown in that role – it was a tough gig playing against a side against Leeds. You have to do a lot off the ball.

“I’ll just keep working on that. We’ve got other players on the bench who can come on. It’s important everyone gives their absolute maximum, to the limit. Alex did that today”, he concluded
