Coach of Liverpool Jurgen Klopp has told Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi that he will be part of his squad for pre season after the 23 year old was granted a work permit to play for the team.

Klopp has twice played a role in the forward who was signed in 2015 heading to Germany on loan because he believe he will get the needed education to thrive in his team.

This season, the Nigerian has grown in leaps and bounds with five goals in 20 games for Union Berlin in the Bundesliga, a tally which could have been more if not for the injury the kept him out for two months.

Although a loan to a team in the English Championship could be on the cards, the foremost idea for now still remains watching him at close quarters for the first part of pre season.
