Head coach of Roma Rudi Garcia has indicated that Edin Dzeko might not necessarily displace Sadiq Umar when he returns from his three match suspension.

Speaking after AS Roma 1-1 draw with AC Milan, the gaffer noted his delight with the performance of the 18 year old Nigerian who tormented the AC Milan defense for the 65 minutes he spent on the pitch although he lamented his inability to score when he had a chance to a minute into the game.

“What matters is that everyone can be involved. We saw that in the first half – more players mean greater quality” He said

“Edin will return and we saw the captain back again tonight too. He also needs to rediscover full fitness and we’ll be stronger once Kevin Strootman is back too. I’m delighted with Sadiq. It’s a shame he missed that chance early on but he’s young and is doing his bit.”
