Nigeria forward Emmanuel Emenike whose loan spell at UAE side Al-Ain was terminated on Wednesday is reportedly on his way to join an English premier league team.

The 28 year old Nigerian is according to respected transfer news expert Di Marzio wanted by West Ham manager Slaven Bilic who knew him during his time at Fenerbache while he was coaching Besiktas in same league.

Andy Carrol injury and Manuel Lanzini are both long term injury casualties for the Hammers and Emenike is viewed as a stop gap option and he reportedly terminated his loan deal with Al-Ain so as to move to the English Premier League side.

Emenike has long been a fan of the English Premier League severally voicing his preference for the league however he might be coming to England with a goal tally that doesn’t look good with just 11 goals in the last two years for both Fenerbache and Al-Ain from 38 games.
