In what might be the most expensive domestic transfer in the history of Slovenia football,Nigeria forward Blessing Eleke was today presented as a player of NK Olympija.
The 19 year old was heavily courted by teams around Europe notably in Sweden,Belgium and lately Italy but Olimpija won the battle for the forward after reportedly paying a record 800,000 Euros to his team NK Gorica.
He leaves Gorica with a record of 15 goals from 35 games in the one and half year he spent with the team and is expected to fill the void created by the departure of Andraz Sporar to FC Basle.
He will team up with his close friend Henty Ezekiel and will dorn jersey number 99 for the team he claimed is a great opportunity for him to have joined on a three and half year deal.
