Nigeria youth international Mustapha Abdullahi will not be offered a contract by German second division side Arminia Bielefeld after a week trial.
The 19 year old featured in a friendly game yesterday playing 45 minutes in their 1-1 draw against SV Groedig but in the words of coach Nobert Meier he didn’t do enough to warrant a deal.
“We watched him yesterday and his performance wasn’t enough although he didn’t do so badly, we won’t be offering him a deal” He said
This will be the third time Abdullahi has suffered disappointments in his quest to take his trade abroad after a failed attempt to move to Morocco and Portugal.
Prior to that he was also reportedly on the wish of some teams in Belgium but with six days left before the transfer window closes he might be returning back to Nigeria.
