Manager of Newcastle United Steve McClaren believes despite the quality of Watford strike pair of Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney, the former got away with an offside goal when he scored against them.

“We kept them quiet, it looked offside the first goal but he (Ighalo) plays on the line and he got the decision and went through and I think they’ve only scored 26,27 goals and they’ve got 22,23 of them” He said.
Ighalo has been a revelation this season after scoring 14 goals in his first season in the English Premier League sparking rumours of big teams scrambling to take him from Watford.
However he has shut down such talks of a departure by insisting he is very much comfortable at Vicarage until at least the summer.
