After an injury blighted career that has restricted him to just four appearances in three years, Mikel Agu has spoken on his delight at making two consecutive starts for Club Brugge.
22 year old Agu told Owngoalnigeria.com he has gotten back his excitement and his recent run of games is a testament of his good form.
“Am feeling so well and credit to the coach who believed in me and took me on loan despite my injury past, am excited and yearning for more” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.
Agu joined Club Brugge on loan from FC Porto where he could have been a mainstay of the main team if not for an injury just before the start of the 2014/2015 season.
He got injured during pre season and returned towards the end of the season to make three appearances for the B team but left on loan before the end of the winter transfer to Club Brugge.
At Porto since 2012 he has two appearances to his name for the main team both in 2014 in games against Benfica and Gil Vicente.
