The name Brown Ideye was once again on the lips of the fans of Olympiakos after his brace in their 5-0 win over Asteras Tripoli in the first leg of the Greek cup.

Ideye got his brace in the 13th and 41st minute further enhancing his reputation in Greece after a brief goal drought when he failed to score against Xanthi and Platanias.

So far he has 9 domestic goals and his fine form has played a part in his team maintaining their unbeaten run so far in the league as they eye a league and cup double.

27 year old Ideye has also scored once in the UEFA champions league although they are now to campaign in the Europa League after finishing third in their group that involves Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

The Ex West Bromwich record signing has been frozen out of the Nigeria national team set up since failing to make the list to the World cup 2014 in what came as a shock to many as he was ever present to help them win the 2013 Africa Nations cup in South Africa.
