An improved bid of £18.7m from Leicester City to CSKA Moscow for their Nigeria forward Ahmed Musa has been rejected as they are holding out for his full buyout clause.
Leicester City made and failed with an initial bid of £15.1m for the 23 year old who now captains the Nigeria national team but with his current deal set to run out in 2019 CSKA Moscow wants his buyout clause of £22.8m paid in full.
Although Musa is open to the idea of joining Leicester City he won’t destroy his fine relationship with the Russian outfit and they are also reports that Leicester City will make one final improved bid for him before 1st February when the transfer window closes.
This season he has scored 10 goals in 29 games and internationally he has 11 goals in 56 appearances, the highlight been his two well taken goals against Argentina at the 2014 World cup.
