Heartland FC of Owerri have reportedly fire their coach Bethel Oji’ after failing to win any of there first three games in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The decision to fire Oji’ came after yesterday’s 0-1 loss at home to Abia Warriors which leaves them with two draws and one loss from their first three games although the decision to sack him was also influenced by a below par showing during pre season games due.
He joined the team in 2014 but after two seasons at the helm he failed to make them challenge for the league title.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered that he will be replaced by veteran manager Alphonsus Dike whose last job was with Nassarawa United two seasons ago and he will resume training with the team with immediate effect.
