Former Nigeria U-20 invitee Cedric Omogui is presently not pulling his weight an with Valencia II which could reduce the chances of his hope of securing a permanent deal in the summer with the team.
Valencia have the option to buy him permanently in the summer for six million euros after signing him on loan in the summer from Mallorca where he has spent the last six years of his career.
However the 21 year old has played 12 times for the team campaigning in Segunda B of Spanish football which is the third tier of league football in the country with just one goal to his name a far cry from the 17 he scored last season while at Mallorca in same league.
Still contacted to Malaga till ther summer of 2018 he will most likely return back to the team that once had Super Eagles winger Finidi George as their coach and later trainer.
Omogui trained with the Nigeria U-20 team of 2013 before they went to the WYC in Turkey but didn’t make the team and since then has not being called up to any arm of the Nigeria senior national team.
