Nigeria U-17 World cup winner Lukman Zakara has arrived in Tunisia in the company of his elder brother Masaud to begin his career with top division side Sfaxien owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
17 year old Zakari will train with the B team of the squad till he completes 18 year old in December when he will be eligible to sign professional contract with the team currently challenging for the title in Tunisia.
He will also enjoy the company of his elder brother Masaud before he clocks 18 as part of the measures put in place by the team to help him settle quickly into his new surroundings.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered he will train twice with the main team every week although he will mostly spend time with the Elite squad which is the B team of Sfaxien.
They are unconfirmed reports as well that he will train permanently with the first team but drop down a level to play games for the B team before he turns 18.
His deal to Sfaxien was brokered by top Nigerian agent Babawo Mohammed and it’s reportedly worth $200,000 in transfer fee while the player is on a wage of $2,500 monthly aside a sign on fee of $210,000 spread over the five years of his deal.
