Four days ago 25 year old forward Sekou Jabateh Oliseh completed a transfer to Romanian side Astra Giurgiu who once had Kehinde Fatai on their books.

The Liberian-Nigerian joined the team as a free agent after leaving CSKA Moscow in the summer following an unsuccessful loan spell at Kuban Krasnodar.

He has been in Europe since 2008 when he went to Danish side FC Midtjylland before his move to Russia where he spent four seasons with CSKA Moscow but never really made the grades at the club.

His two years stay on loan at Greek side PAOK still didn’t give him the lift his career needed as he scored just four times from 23 games.

Last season at Kuban Krasnordar he scored 4 times in the league, a tally he will be eager to improve on in Romania.

Eligible for Nigeria and Liberia he however pledged his allegiance to Liberia where he has seventeen caps and two goals.
