Akeem Latifu: Played as centre back, put in a good shift and was very resolute in defending against Shakhtar Donetsk. Wilfred Ndidi: Super 90 minutes display from Ndidi and his contribution in keeping Genk’s Midfield tight was commendable, covered every blade of the grass and strong in one-on- one challenge. One of the reasons why Genk will be in Europe next season.

Chidozie Awaziem: Growing in confidence day-by-day, it was a joy to see him dribble pass two Pacos Midfielder’s, distributed passes like a veteran and his off the ball movement has been worked on by Prez, super dangerous at set pieces always a danger to the opponents, Won fair share of tackles for Porto and He was substituted at 75mins as a precaution, got a yellow card, decent performance from Chidozie.

Eddy Onazi: Lazio’s workhorse, he helped rejuvenated Lazio to an important away win, he had a bad spell under Stefan Pioli who got sacked and replaced by Simone Inzaghi, Onazi returned to starting line up and he churned out a decent performance,tackled well and was all over the pitch, almost had an assist, a clean start for Nigerian midfield dynamo.

Alex Iwobi: Rated as one of d best players, two super assists and an awareness that was beyond his age highlighted the story of Nigerian playmaker. He was effective in the last third, a class act in a build up play and with the ball at his feet, looked so powerful.

Ahmed Musa: He put in a good shift, a goal and two assist, helped CSKA returned to top of the table in Russian League. CSKA launched most of their offensive play through Musa and Nigerian international live up to the expectation all at occasions, burnt his opponents with pace and Off the ball movement which resulted into two assists and a goal. Excellent performance from Musa.

Fred Friday: Two good goals that have hallmark of real poacher written over both goals, he tormented Sarpsborg’s defenders throughout the duration of the match and accidentally provided LSK’s third goal.
