CSKA Moscow of Russia were able to to snatch a point in the Moscow derby against Lokomotiv Moscow thanks to their Nigerian forward Aaron Samuel.
Vedran Corluka gave Lokomotiv Moscow the lead in the 22nd minute but Samuel making his first start since his loan move to the Russian side from Chinese Super League team Guangzhou R&F in January drew them level with six minutes left to play.
The goal by Samuel was his 8th of the season after scoring seven for Chinese side Guangzhou R&F before his loan move to Russia in January.
Samuel played as the main striker for CSKA Moscow same role Henty Ezekiel played for Lokomotiv Moscow in the game that also saw a third Nigerian in Ahmed Musa also on parade for CSKA Moscow.
While Samuel has gotten off the mark for his new side, Henty Ezekiel is still searching for his first goal for Lokomotiv Moscow as he fired blank in what was his fourth game since moving to Russia from Olympija of Slovenia.
