MANU GARBA STORMS ABUJA FOR U-17 CAMPING, THROWS SCREENING OPEN

Head coach of the Nigeria U-17 team Manu Garba has confirmed to Owngoalnigeria.com that camping for the Nigeria U-17 team will begin on Monday.

“Camping will Insha Allah begin on Monday with 40 players who were selected from the states I toured the last four months and they will hopefully be joined by some other players we hope to get from a two weeks screening exercise” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.

“The screening is open to all players within the age bracket and successful players will join us in the camp if they are better than the players we have penciled down”.

The Golden Eaglet of Nigeria will take on Niger Republic in August in a bid to qualify for next year Africa U-17 Youth Championship which will take place in Madagascar from 2nd to 16th of April.
