A family member of Viking forward Suleiman Abdullahi has put to rest suggestions that the 19 year old is heading to a Turkish team insisting he is instead on his way to joining a German team.
Reports from Norway monitored by our correspondent has it that a fee has been agreed with a team for the transfer of the man who scored 5 goals in the first stanza of the league in Norway.
Most media outlets were speculating he will be moving to a team in Turkey but a close confidant of the striker who is presently back in Nigeria on holiday says a move to Germany is what is been discussed not Turkey.
“Abdullahi is not heading to a Turkish team, he is heading to German team, hopefully the move will be concluded before the end of this week” A family source told Owngoalnigeria.com
We sought to know further if he is going to St. Pauli who recently had a bid turned down for him in January but our source remained coy on his friend’s likely destination.
” St. Pauli, Freiburg or RB Leipzig? I honestly don’t know but you will get to know when the deal is concluded”.
