Paul Le Guen who once lead Olympic Lyon to three straight Ligue 1 title in France has reportedly agreed to coach the Super Eagles on a short term deal.

Le Guen will handle the Super Eagles throughout the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers before possibly signing a long term deal if Nigeria qualifies for the World cup, a feat the 52 year old achieved with Cameroun two years ago.

“It’s a short term deal for the period of the World Cup, if all goes according to plan he could possibly get an extension especially if we qualify for the World cup” an administrative staff of the Nigeria Football Federation told Owngoalnigeria.con

Already he has picked former Super Eagles captain Austin Okocha as one of his assistant and will reportedly earn double the amount former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi earned during his time with our source at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) hinting it could be as much as $50,000 per month.
