Head coach of the Nigeria U-20 team Emmanuel Amuneke has pencilled down the names of three highly rated Nigerian teen in Europe for call-up to the national team.

Top of the list is Liverpool’s teen prospect Ovie Ejiara whom the manager know so well from his time at the U-17 when the 18 year old trained with the World Cup bound team of 2013 with Amuneke back then assisting head coach Manu Garba.

Tosin Kehinde of Manchester United is also high on the priority list of the U-20 coach who has been made aware of the player’s availability by the media officer of the team Adewale Ajayi.

Amuneke who is keen on strengthening one of the most talented bunch of U-20s in the history of Nigeria football has also marked Southampton’s teen wonder Olufela Olomola for call-up to the team, the 18 year old who made the bench for Southampton four months ago in a premier League game.

However the trio will most likely be called up to the team if the manager’s dream of having a training camp in Europe before the start of the Africa Youth Championship (AYC) in Zambia is approved by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The former Barcelona player who lead the Nigeria U-17 to World Cup glory in 2015 is also wary of the fact that club commitments could prevent them from featuring at the AYC, hence he has lined them up to fight for spot if they secure a World Cup ticket as widely expected.
