Ex Spurs Trainee Musa Yahaya Begins Life At FC Porto

Former Tottenham Nigeria youth International Musa Yahaya, has started training with his new team FC Porto after arriving Portugal this week alongside fellow Mutunchi Academy prospect Moses John.

However they are presently not part of the first team according to their agent Babawo Mohammed, they are presently with the B team of the Portuguese giants, the reigning champions of the second division in Portugal.

Yahaya spent time on loan to Portimonense from Tottenham Hotspurs last season before he was bought over by the team, who in turn traded him off to FC Porto at the start of the summer transfer window as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com

John was signed by the Portuguese giants after impressing scouts of the team during a scouting tournament organised by Babawo Mohammed in conjunction with Gee-Lec Football Academy.

“They are in Portugal already and Musa Yahaya has already played in his first pre season game, they lost 0-1 to the B team of Villarreal , Moses didn’t play he is still settling down to life in Portugal” Babawo Mohammed who manages the affairs of the duo told Owngoalnigeria.com.

“Just like Chidozie Awaziem, who is now an established member of the first team, they will be with the B team before making the step up to the main team if they impress the technical crew”.
