Former AC Milan youth teamer Henty Ezekiel ended a six months goal drought by hitting the winner for his Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow to give them a 2-1 win over FC Krasnodar.

Ezekiel’s last league goal was on the 2nd of December 2015 while he was still at Slovenian side Olimpija, two months before his €5m move to Lokomotive Moscow.

Since joining Lokomotive Moscow in February he has failed to find the back of the net in 12 games before today’s tie, when he struck what ended as the winner in the 56th minute of play.

23 year old Ezekiel was released by Serie A side AC Milan after failing to make the grades at the San Siro, and the power playing forward moved to Slovenia where he had stints with Gorica and Olimpija.

While in Slovenia, he scored a total of 14 league goals with 8 coming in his most prolific season the 2015/2016, which earned him a winter transfer to Russia.
