Enugu Rangers have received a timely boost to their squad in their bid to win the Nigeria Professional League title, following the resumption of Nigeria Olympic goalkepper Emmanuel Daniel.
Kaduna born Daniel will rejoin the Nigeria League leaders, who are gunning for their first title in over 30 years, left Kaduna for Enugu today to rejoin the league title chasers.
The goalkepper who kept in all but one of Nigeria’s game at the Olympics where they pick bronze has been away for some months, due to commitments with the Nigeria Under-23s.
Daniel who was invited to Super Eagles before their clash against Tanzania, but failed to make the match day squad for the game will challenge Ghanaian import Nana Bonsu for the position of first choice shot stopper.
However Bonsu will most likely retain his spot for this weekend game but with six games to go before the end of the Nigeria League, his return will still give a boost to their league title aspirations.
