Former Inter-Milan midfield anchorman Joel Obi who went off injured in Torino’s 3-1 win over Roma, has known the length of time he will spend on the sideline.
Injuries limited the highly rated 25 year old to just 10 appearances last season for Torino after his transfer from Inter-Milan and, fans of Torino feared the worst when he was replaced just 23 minutes into their weekend game against Roma.
The injury is described as a muscular problem which has connections to the tendon in the biceps of his left thigh, which requires further assessment next week.
However the length of time, he will be out injured won’t be as lengthy as his previous spells on the sidelines, as he is reportedly set to be out for an initial 10-15 days.
This season he has been ever present for Torino in the middle with five appearances to his name since the start of the 2016/2017 Serie A season in Italy.
