Coach of Norwegian side Molde Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Nigerian midfielder Ekpe Thompson back at the club after helping his loan side Kristiansund FK emerge as champions of the second division.
The 19 year old Kaduna born midfielder who stands at an impressive height of over six feet tall, played six times for Kristiansund after joining them midway through the season.
His form was very pivotal to the team gaining promotion, a form he carried into a friendly game against his parent owners shortly after the end of the season.
” I have spoken with the coach (Ole Gunnar Solksjaer) and he wants me back at Molde instead of going out on loan, it’s nice to have the trust of the manager but there’s still a long way to go”, Ekpe told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Am just a year old in Norway, and it hasn’t been funny playing in the cold. I managed to cope and now am looking up to a strong season if I return back to Molde”.
