Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn with old rivals South Africa, Libya and Seychelles in Group E of the qualifiers with only the top side and the three best runners-up from the 12 pools advancing to the finals.
Gernot Rohr lead Super Eagles will start their qualifying series with a home tie against South Africa in the week of June 5-13, 2017.
The qualifiers then take a nine-month break and resume in March 2018, when Super Eagles will travel to Seychelles.
They then take on Libya in home and away matches in the week of 3-11 September 2018, before a taking on South Africa away between October 8-16 October, 2018.
Libya rely on their north African neighbours as venues due to the civil strife in that company, and in the last two years have played ‘home’ matches in Tunisia, Egypt and most recently Algeria.
The Eagles will round out their pool campaign with a home game against Seychelles on 5-13 November, 2018.
