Why Iwobi Plays Regularly Ahead Of Some Stars At Arsenal – Wenger Explains

Manager of Arsenal Arsene Wenger has expressed his satisfaction with the progress of 20 year old Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi.

Iwobi was heavily involved in Arsenal’s three second-half goals at Swansea, seeing two efforts deflected in for own goals, then starting the move which led to the fourth for Alexis.

Iwobi made his Premier League debut in the corresponding fixture last season, and the youngster has gone from strength to strength ever since.

“He is more and more comfortable in the team,” the manager said to Arsenal Player after the game. “But I think Alex Iwobi, above all his talent, is a guy who has a fantastic team attitude.

“He is gaining in confidence as well. You could see overall that he develops very well. If he keeps that kind of spirit he has at the moment, he can go much higher up. That’s my wish.”
