Moses Simon Dazzles In Front Of Man Utd Scout, Esiti Shines As Gent Beat Spurs

Belgian side Gent defeated English Premier League Europa League flag bearer Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in a round of 32 game of Europe’s second tier competition.

Gent paraded two Nigerians from the start in Moses Simon and Anderson Esiti, while Esiti lasted the entire duration of the game, Simon was replaced with 16 minutes left to play in the game by another Nigerian in Samuel Kalu.

Simon was lively for the minutes he was on the pitch, pushing the opponent defenders into defending deep with his direct approach, pace and quick feet.

Esiti on the other hand was towering in the middle as the giant midfielder orchestrated things from the middle for his team, with crisp neat passes although he was twice beaten for pace.

The other Nigerians at the club Rabiu Ibrahim and William Troost- Ekong were not dressed for the tie, with Rabiu missing out with a tendon injury while Ekong was omitted from their Europa League squad.
