NFF Technical Committee Unhappy With Rohr Over Super Eagles List For France Camp

‎A member of the technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has voiced the committee ‘s unhappiness with the recent list of players released by coach of the Super Eagles for a training camp in France.

The coach invited 22 players for the exercise in France, which will also involve a test game against Corsica and possibly Togo before they return to Nigeria for their AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa.

Long standing member of the NFF technical committee Garba Lawal told Sports Radio station Brila Fm in an interview ‎ that the coach didn’t consult the committee before making the list public.

“I’m a member of the committee, but we’ve not met since June 2016. I learned about the 25-man list in the media. We can’t make any input when we don’t get calls or emails. The media gets the list before we do”, Garba Lawal said.

” For now the Technical Committee is just for mere formality for sure. Things weren’t like this when Aminu Maigari was the NFF president or when Anyasi Agu was Chairman of the committee “.
