Former Super Eagles forward Uche Nwofor has been released by Slovakian side AS Trencin after a season at the club, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Nwofor has been told he can leave when his contract expires on the 1st of July after he failed to make an impression at the club following his move from Portuguese side Boavista.
The 25 year old scored just once in 12 games as he failed to command a regular shirt in the team that is home to four other Nigerian players, with three more set to join according to reports exclusively gathered by our editorial team.
As exclusively reported by this portal Gabriel Okoriko will join the team this summer, while two other players are also expected to join him in moving to the team later in the month.
Presently Kunle Issa, Maduka Udeh, Abdul Zubairu and Hilary Gong are with the team which helped in the career formation of Moses Simon, Samuel Kalu, Kingsley Madu, Rabiu Ibrahim and Aliko Bala who are all plying their trade in Belgium.
