Italian Serie A side Inter Milan have failed with a renewed bid to sign Wolfsburg Nigerian teen forward Victor Osimhen according to reports exclusively gathered by our editorial team.
Inter Milan lost out in the bid to sign Osimhen two years ago after his feat at the U-17 World Youth Championship which Nigeria won in 2015, but they have not given up on their chances of luring him away from Wolfsburg.
They failed with a bid for him in January as exclusively reported by this portal, shortly after 18 year old Osimhen made his debut for Wolfsburg where new coach Andries Jonker rates him highly.
However Inter-Milan made another push to sign him few weeks ago with the promise of regular first team football, something he is not entirely guarantee to have at Wolfsburg due to the presence of Mario Gomez.
Wolfsburg turned down the offer as the club still rates the forward highly and believe he will be the long term successor to Gomes who has less than three active season to play at the top.
