Eupen – No Bid From Birmingham City For Onyekuru, He Wants A Top Club

Hot in demand KAS Eupen Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru who is reportedly a target of English Championship side Birmingham City will reveal his destination next week.

However a club source told on the condition of anonymity that rumours of a mammoth bid from Birmingham City is wide off the mark, as the club are yet to ‎receive a bid officially from the Championship side.

The West Ham United target according to the source ‎turned down what looked like a done deal to Anderlecht who are going to play in the UEFA Champions League, so there’s little or no chance of him joining a team in the second division in England.

” For now there’s no bid from Birmingham City for Onyekuru, but we are in talks with a team in England with Mogi Bayat handling talks on behalf of Eupen, all things been equal next week an announcement will be made”, he told

” As for Birmingham City, I don’t think Onyekuru who turned down a move to a champions League team in Anderlecht would be interested in a move to a team in the second division of England”.
