Italian Serie A side AC Milan have ended their relationship with Nigerian forward Nnamdi Oduamadi following the expiration of his deal at the club.

Great things were expected of Oduamadi when he joined AC Milan in 2010‎ but he failed to deliver on the promises that lead to his signing as he made only one appearance before leaving on loan.

Oduamadi’s only game for the Serie A giants was on the 18th of September 2010 and he lasted just five minutes in their 1-1 draw against Catania, since then he has endured seven different loan spells away from the club.

The ‎26 year old didn’t make quite an impression at his loan clubs with his best spell coming at Finnish side HJK Helsinki where he made 28 league appearances and found the back of the net 7 times last season.

He finished the remaining six months of last season at AC Milan but failed to convince coach Vincenzo Montella that he deserves a spot in the team, a situation which made them opt against offering a contract extension.
