Gent Tells EPL New Boys Brighton To Pay £13m For Super Eagles Star Moses Simon

Newly promoted ‎English Premier League side Brighton are still being expected to slap in a second bid for Nigerian for Moses Simon after Gent refused their initial offer.

As exclusively reported by this portal five days ago, Brighton’s first bid for Simon which is speculated to be in the region of £8.4m was turned down by the Belgium side, who are not keen on letting the winger leave on a cheap.

Simon who turned 21 today is valued in the region of £13m by Gent despite the forward having just two years to run on his current deal. Brighton are hopeful that Simon’s desire to move to England will help their course to lure him.

Gent are also facing the prospect of losing their bargaining point at the end of this season, as the forward who has 11 caps for Nigeria will have just one year left on his contract, and so far he has refused to extend his contract beyond 2019.
