Italian Serie A side Bologna were in rampant mood in their pre season friendly against local side Virtus Acquaviva thrashing them by an astonishing 17-0 as preparations for the Serie A season hots up.
Bologna had their Nigerian forward Orji Okonkwo on from the start but the 19 year old failed to hit the back of the net despite his team scoring as many as 17 goals in the game.
Okonkwo went off injured after 12 minutes with his team 2-0 up in the tie. The injury looked like a thigh injury as he was carried out on the stretcher while clutching onto his thigh.
The injury no doubt cost him a goal in the game, but he however made a lively start to the tie by playing a role in the move that lead to the first goal scored by his team.
Last season he made the step up to the main team of the Serie A side just three months after joining them, thanks to his performances for their B team where he plundered back to back hat-trick in his first three games.
