Few days ago, the Sporting Director of Austrian side Austria Wien said talks are underway with a Spanish La-Liga side for the services of their striker Olarewaju Kayode.
Kayode who finished as top scorer of the team and also got voted as the best player in the league has been linked with a move away from the team since the end of the season in Austria.
Proposed moves to Russian clubs and German sides broke down, but talks appear to be well advanced with Malaga for the 24 year old, who scored 24 goals last season.
Malaga are in the market for a replacement after losing Sandro Ramirez to Everton, and Kayode fits the bill of the kind of striker who can replace the former Barcelona ace who scored 16 league goals last season.
A fee in the region of €3m has been quoted by Austria Wien as the value of Kayode, who has two senior national team caps for the Nigeria national team.
