Highly rated ex Nigeria U-17 midfielder Jack Ipalibo is back in training with the junior team of Spanish La Liga side Villarreal in his quest to make the step up to the first team next season.

Ipalibo was ever present for the B team after his work permit went through, and his performances saw him move a ladder up in the cadre as he trained with the reserves owing to a super showing for the U18s.

He played for the B team against Nigeria Professional Football League side Rivers United in a friendly game last year, and he is hoping he gets the nod to feature for the first team next season.
