Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa rounded up scoring for Leicester City in their 4-1 thrashing of Sheffield United in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

Heavily linked with a move away from the former English Champions, the 24 year old was handed a rare start by coach Craig Shakespeare who also played Musa’s Nigeria national team colleague Wilfred Ndidi from the start.

The other Nigerian at the club Kelechi Iheanacho who recently returned to full training after recovering from a toe injury wasn’t listed as he is still battling his way to full fitness.

Musa lasted the entire duration of the game and scored with what was the last goal action of the game to round up a comprehensive 4-1 win for The Foxes, while Ndidi made way for Daniel Amartey after the hour mark.
