Nigeria international Anthony Nwakaeme rose from the substitute bench to draw Hapoel Be’er Sheva level but ended up on the losing side as they Viktoria Plzen ran out 3-1 winners.
Nwakaeme was surprisingly left on the bench, but with his side trailing the home team by a lone goal, he was introduced for Ben Sahar in the 62nd minute of the Europa League clash.
Seven minutes after his introduction he drew his side level with a smart finish, but they fail to hang onto the leveller and ended up losing 3-1 to drop to second position with same point as Plzen.

Nwakaeme’s Nigerian counterpart John Ogu was on for the entire duration of the game, and gave a good performance in the middle for his side during the course of the tie.
