On loan Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa fired a brace for CSKA Moscow to power them to a 3-0 win over Elche in a friendly game ahead of the resumption of the Russian Premier League.

Musa is back at the club on loan after failing to make an impression at Leicester City following a £16m switch two summers ago, and he is once again proving his money worth.

After scoring in his debut game, the 25 year old opened scoring in the 22nd minute before completing his brace in the 61st minute which gave them a comprehensive 3-0 win over the Spanish side.

His new found form will no doubt increase his chances of making the Nigerian team to the World Cup in Russia, which was part of the reason why he left Leicester City as he wasn’t getting enough game time.

He will spend the rest of the season on loan with the Russian side before returning back to Leicester City where a decision will be made on his immediate future.
