Theophilus Solomon Scores First Goal For Cyprus Giant Omonia Nicosia, Reveals Goal Target

On loan HNK Rijeka forward Theophilus Solomon scored his first goal for his loan side Omonia Nicosia in their 3-0 win over ‎Aris Limassol in what was his second game for the club.

Solomon was introduced after 69 minutes ‎with Omonia two goals up and the Nigerian killed off any hope of a late rally by Aris Limassol by netting the third goal for his side on the dot of regulation time.

He made a clever run behind the defence of ‎Aris and his well placed header off a cross from the right left the goalkeeper stranded as he wheeled away in celebration of his first goal for the club on his home debut.

The former Nigeria U17, 20 and 23 trainee joined the club during the January transfer window after mutually terminating his loan deal with Serbian side Partizan Belgrade, where he spent the first half of the season on loan from Rijeka.
