Sweden top division side IFK Norrkoping ‎has pulled a major transfer coup by signing 16 year old Nigeria U17 midfielder Abdularazak Isheq nicknamed golden boy.

Razak was one of the top prospect in the Nigerian U17 team of 2016 despite their failure to qualify for the African Youth Championship. His form during the both leg of their qualifiers against Niger Republic lead to interest from ‎English Championship side QPR.

Southampton were also linked with a move for the midfielder, but Norwegian side Rosenborg where his colleague Igho Ogbu plays at the moment we’re widely believed to be the front runners for his signature.

IFK Norrkoping won the race to sign him on a pre contract, which will become a professional deal after he impressed a scout linked with the team during a Youth Tournament organised by some scouts in Ghana last year.

Already he has visited the Swedish Embassy to process his visa, which is expected to be out in the coming days to enable him travel to Sweden, where he will train with the club.

He is widely expected to keep his spot in the Nigerian U17 team following the reappointment of coach Manu Garba by the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) , same coach who gave him his breakthrough at that same level last time out.
