Crotone eased their relegation worries with a 2-1 win over Udinese with their Nigerian striker Simmy Nwankwo following up his last weekend spectacular goal against Juventus with another goal.
Simmy scored the first goal for his side to draw them level after Udinese have taken the lead , and he also had a hand in the winning goal scored by his team as his effort was parried onto the path of his teammate who netted the winner.
In what has been a not too happy season for the giant Nigerian striker he has scored in back to back games at a time when his team need a lift to help them beat the drop to the second division in Italy .
The 25 year old now has four goals from 19 league games this season, a remarkable improvement from last season where he only scored thrice from 21 games in his first season at the club following his transfer from second division Portuguese side Gil Vincente.
