The forced withdrawal of Gent ace Moses Simon from the Nigerian squad currently preparing for the World Cup due to injury has lead to talks about coach Gernot Rohr calling up a replacement.

Simon pulled up injured three days back and a scan conducted this morning confirmed the 22 year old suffered a muscle tear which will need a minimum of three weeks to heal.

The result made coach of the team Rohr to rule him out of his squad for the friendly game against England and subsequently the final squad for the World Cup, which will be named after the England game scheduled to take place at Wembley.
