Coach of the national team of Croatia Zlatko Dalic has revealed that he is aware of where the strength of the Nigerian team lies ahead of their group D Russia 2018 World Cup clash tomorrow in Kaliningrad.
Both nations will open their campaign against each other tomorrow with a win on their mind. A fact which has already made the tie an interesting game to look forward to when it gets underway by 8pm Nigerian time.
Speaking at the pre match conference, Dalic was asked by a Nigerian journalist if he is aware of the strength of the Nigerian team and the coach responded by going a step further in naming players who make the Nigerian team thick.
” We have a quality team and I will prefer to focus on my team. Nigeria are also a very organise team and I know their strength is in their attack with players like Alex Iwobi, Odion Ighalo, Victor Moses and Kelechi Iheanacho “, he said.
He also dismissed Nigeria’s enviable record of never losing to an European nation in their first group game at previous World Cup tournament saying history won’t play any part when both teams meet tomorrow.
